Florida may be better known for its gators, Disney theme parks and glorious beaches, but something a littler dirtier is starting to gain in popularity. That’s right, the Dirty Foot Adventures, a privately owned off-road riding club and facility just outside of Fort Meade in the Sunshine State.

DFA is essentially an off-road riding club/park for members only. Membership is limited and is controlled by the land/park owners. You pay your membership dues at the gate. All visitors must also sign a waiver or parental consent form. “We have decided to keep this a membership club to have a more structured and controlled environment where everyone can have fun and still feel safe,” the owners/organizers stated on their Website. ” We want to keep this a family friendly and child safe environment. This membership structure will allow us to eliminate the trouble makers quickly and ban them from ever returning.”


  • A weekend membership allows use of park from Friday at 3 p.m., Friday to 5 p.m., Sunday
  • Monthly memberships will allow use of the facility for no less than 3 weekends per month.
  • Weekend memberships: 13 yrs and older – $20; 6-12 yrs old – $10; 5 and under – FREE
  • Monthly memberships: 13 yrs and older – $50; 6-12 yrs old – $25; 5 and under – FREE
  • Family Plan – $125 per month (Dues are for 1 or 2 parents and up to 5 children for the entire month)


  • Open most weekends (depending on events/racing/park decision)
  • Friday at 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Saturday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Sunday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.


It’s open to quads, dirt bikes, UTVs and similar sized vehicles, according to the Website. DFA also allows 3-wheelers, go-karts and golf carts.


More than 150 acres of primitive camping (more than a mile long)

“… trail areas consist of over 1,500 acres of beautiful Florida woodland with almost 30 miles of existing trails with many large oak hammocks and of course, some mud areas for those who want to get dirty,” the park’s Website boasts. Trails are good for both sport quads and 4×4 ATVs and UTVs and vary from modertate to tight wooded runs to very challenging 4WD trails. There are creeks as well.

DFA also hosts many events for its members, including ATV races and events, poker runs and more. Cross country racing and drag racing events are also held on the property.
